Our Story
Pretty Personal Events began in the most natural way — through creativity, family and a love for making special moments beautiful.

The business originally started as a simple hobby between Sarah and her daughter, who from a very young age showed a real passion for flowers, balloons and crafts. What began as a fun activity together soon grew into something much bigger, as friends, family and local venues began asking for help creating beautifully styled spaces for their celebrations.
Before long, that small hobby evolved into the successful event styling business that Pretty Personal Events is today.
For Sarah, the motivation behind the business has always been deeply personal. With both of her children being diagnosed with disabilities, she wanted to create something meaningful — a business where her children could grow, feel proud and one day thrive in something they truly enjoy.

What started as a mum and daughter hobby has now grown into a proud family-run business, covering all aspects of event styling and planning across Liverpool and the surrounding areas.
Sarah has continued to develop the business professionally, qualifying in Wedding Planning and Event Management, as well as completing specialist training in Balloon Artistry and Floristry. Combined with her previous career in HR and Training, this ensures every event is organised with care, creativity and a high level of professionalism.

Sarah also feels incredibly fortunate to work with a number of wonderful venues across Liverpool and beyond. Their support and encouragement have been a huge part of the journey — and many of them have become very familiar with Sarah’s daughter Tillie occasionally attending a set-up with her very official clipboard in hand!

Today, Pretty Personal Events continues to grow while staying true to its roots — creating beautifully styled celebrations while keeping family, creativity and personal service at the heart of everything we do.
